Hi everyone  !

I tried to take off the holding brackets from the sunvisors for rechroming. That's 2nd option .So far no luck. I'm sure  has a trick to do it.
1st option: I have a pair new Chevy brackets. A slightly different them the original.  Earlybitz selling exactly the same here for Fe ,Fc.
I just wondering anybody used it from them.
I have to take off the shaft for that option too.

Cheers  :Laszlo

The end of the arm is peened over the washer, holding the spring in place.  To remove the mounting bracket, you'll have to file or grind off the part that's been peened over the washer.  Then you can get the bracket rechromed.  Unfortunately, reassembly will be difficult.  There's a couple of options: tack-weld the washer to the arm, or drill and tap the centre of the arm to take a screw.

Remember: if your Holden's not leaking oil, it doesn't have any.
