reminds me of a trip to Ardlethan we took a few years back ( about 10yrs ago ) to pick up some truck parts in a paddock ,we stopped at a rail siding to take photo of the old signal mans cottage ,out came an old lady ,we got chatting ,she was the dearest old lady you could ever wish to meet ,I spotted a wheel barrow full of old bits , in particular some sulky spanners " i'm getting rid of all of that ,it was my husbands ,you can have it all for $2 "..We gave her $20.00 and put the empty barrow back in the shed..Short encounters can make long memories ...Vern
