Greetings everyone. I'm a long way from home and need the physical dimensions of a grey gearbox. ie
overall length of box and width of bellhousing, and if possible approximate weight. Thanks in advance.
Regards.   Wedd.

G'day Wedd,

I haven't got a gearbox with me, but from my notes a used grey crashbox, without oil, clutch or flywheel, weighs approximately 27kg. The main casing is 15" long, and the extension housing is another 7.75" long (total 22.75"). Not sure of width.

Cheers,
Harv

Hey old timer, metric measurements are 60cm long, 38cm wide and 36cm high. Bill you could have unpacked my shelves and measured this when you were here.
