Searching for the two stainless moulds that fix to the plastic seat trims.
Any advice on options also welcome.

A few years ago I purchased some stainless steel trims for VW bug [last of the beetles] they are much the same profile as the strip from tail lights to bumper on FC 2 tone . I use stainless steel self tapping screws [6 gauge ] to attach as the strip will grip the head of the screw. The interesting thing is these strips are available aftermarket in aluminium and for the early Beetles in a wider strip . I have used this in many situations ,in hotrod interiors , exteriors , fastening hood linings , wrinkles in custom motorcycle seats , edging on under dash trays and much more .

Might have a pair in all the packed stuff, if you can wait a week or two I'll check them out when we have unpacked from the move.

I have a good RHS one with clips if this becomes a handy option.

Thanks men.

Harv, love your ideas on options, just what I was seeking.

Jim, yes please & I can wait.

Ken, if Jim doesn't have a pair, I'll ask you if you still have it when he is able to confirm.
