This week we will focus on a favourite topic of many the forgotten FE FC left out in the paddock, in the barn or at the back of the shed.

This weeks subject matter was suggested by Kevin Woolard, so let's start with a few of his pics.

Hi Alex.
Fellow Club Member Rob Peachey & I travelled to Inverell & surrounds over a 3 year period. We gained access to many farm car dumps, as genuine collectors. These vehicles remained on farm & were used for hunting, paddock bashing or transport to the School bus from the farmhouse.  Even the saddest wrecks still surrendered many re-usable parts. I know of other places west of Tamworth, however, despite my best efforts, have not been able to negotiate access.  It seems that these vehicles will rust away over time, or even worse, fall victim to the "car crushers", who are out there scouring farms. At the time of our visit, the going price was $60 per vehicle!  Kevin

Alex

The bottom pic of the van could easily have been the SA police FE van. Has both side windows cut in.  Cool

A few more from Kevin

Found in Bundarra NSW. Dual wheels had been fitted to round up sheep.
The "find", was located down a 20km dirt road west of Bundarra.
Dash, Nose cone & rear seat salvaged. The seat & dash are in my office.
I christened this find, 'The Bundarra Babe".

This one owner FE ute was found in a shed west of Armidale NSW in 2012.
It was relocated to Uralla where this photo was taken.

This "Barn Find" FE ute had been stored in a container in Bathrst for some 20 years.
It has now been restored.

Regards
Alex
