Pete,

Replacement brushes for Bosch EED starters are sold by Ingrams.  Ask your local auto electrician.  But they come without terminals, so you'd need to take off and re-use the terminals from the old brushes.

Also, the 6V brushes have a double lead, while the Ingrams replacements only have a single lead (in theory higher voltage drop in the lead).  I don't think it'd be a problem though.

Or, you could call Stan Bennett.  Do you have his number?
