Hi all,

I picked up a finned alloy rocker cover at a swap meet on Sunday, it has the word 'Lanspeed' cast into the top.  Is this an FC accessory or for an earlier or later grey motor?  The other finned alloy cover I have has no writing whatsoever on it.

thanks

Hi Nige.
Not an Nasco accessory, but an aftermarket accessory. There WAS one alloy cover that was Nasco, but it was plain & had Nasco stamped into the rear end. There were heaps of different kinds of covers made, usually they had matching manifolds, sometimes sideplates & headers.
A few types were:
WEY, Speco, Lanspeed, LYN, Kleinig, just to name a few. There were also some plain ones who I do not really know who produced.

I have a shiny "Speco" Cover, with a "Speco" triple downdraught Strommie set up, "Speco" headers & am looking for (I am beginning to think in vain), "Speco" alloy sideplate.

But at this stage, I will be putting a polished Lanspeed cover on with my Norman. Looks better & seems to suit the Norman. If the headers fit well, the will go on as well.

Regards,
Rob J

Which one, Nunzio?
I'd have to put the Speco set up together, but the Norman & Lanspeed, with the Headers is already done. I will try & borrow my nephews digital camera again.

Don't worry about the borrowing the camera, it will probably be easier if you just ship the whole lot over to me and I will take pictures of it fitted to a shiny green EK and and post them on the forum for you Wink

I too would like to see photo's of the Lanspeed cover fitted.
