Does anyone out there know of a contact for replacing the old "worn out" internals for these Radios with updated ones?  I seem to remember a discussion about this some time ago now.  old-blu.

Have not seen anything in Australia.

I decided to by the retro look so did not go down either path when investigating a couple of years ago.

Why not run a modern Bluetooth style RETRO head unit.

I'm going to run a hidden Bluetooth stereo that is completely controlled by my phone. Won't see stereo but you'll hear it!!

Just an update on repairing your Airchief Radio.  I contacted Nostalgic Radio as suggested. They not only will replace the internals, but also add mp3 & Bluetooth together with am/FM reception. They remake the fragile black dash surround & remake the Airchief badges.  I sent 2 radios off today, so will see what eventuates.   old-blu.
