As a big thank you to everybody who has assisted me over the years with technical advice and guidance, please see below some images of the FC Ute I completed in 2010.

This Forum and its members have been a fantastic resource for me as I embarked on restoring my grandfather's FC Holden. This car came into the family late in life as a retirement project for the old fella. I restored again from 2005 - 2010 following his passing.

I am very happy with the end product (but are you ever really finished) and it cheers me up every time I take it for a drive - even in chilly Canberra.

The old girl will be packed away for the majority of this year while I work overseas so today's polish and service is likely to be the last for a while.

Once again, thanks for the memories, and I look forward to meeting you all at a Nationals some time.

This is a fantastic achievement, and a really nice end product. I hope it brings you as much enjoyment driving it as it has been to build it.

Hope to see it in the flesh one day.

Thanks for the compliments, Crump - It's supposed to be a 2 pack version of adobe beige. I matched the colour on the glovebox at the paint shop.

Originally it should have been Ascot grey, but it was always cream coloured as long as I remember... And I wasn't too keen on the grey either.
