I am thinking of driving over to Sydney to catch the MotorEx, can any locals suggest safe budget accomodation (Family of 6) that isn't too far away from Sydney Olympic Park?

Stinky, there's a few good hotels at Rosehill with parking, not far away, there's a good hotel attached to Blacktown Workers club but parking is open. Also one at Eastern Creek raceway, not sure about parking there. I think there's also a Formula 1 at Parramatta.

Thanks Colin, I am planning on just taking the daily over, by "safe" I mean I don't want to get stuck in a suburb that has roaming ferals at night.

There is also a Formula 1 on the Great Western Hwy at Wentworthvile  that makes a 10 to 15 minute drive to Olympic Park or The Prospect Hotel has rooms another 10 minutes up the road  let me know  when your coming up and we will meet up ....FC427.....
