Happy Williams organised another of his Chrome Bumper Cruises here in Perth, so we decided to tag along
After micks FE ute played silly buggers in York a couple of weekends ago he rang me to borrow the standby FE Ute
So off we went to catch up with a couple of FB/EK Guys going along as well
This was a real liquorice allsorts run with a willys army jeep..8 or so mopars...a few hot rods..a stack of Henrys and a bucket load of Holdens and chevs..even Henrys answer to surferboys wagon..a real cracker...even a tyoyota corona and a datsun 240k
The run started in two spots and met up to travel in convoy to Mundijong, Our northern group started at Hillarys boat harbour and the other in Rockingham. We then went down west Coast drive onto the freeway then to Mundijong
Once there the tavern was popular and the organisers put on a sausage sizzle.After that we just dribbled and drooled till we finally pulled up stumps and took off home ...
The wives came along and were bored shitless in no time at all..however always the happy snapper and took a bucket load of pics
