Fuel Pump Service Kit for 6 cyl red motor

Where is the best place to find a fuel pump service kit for 6 cyl red motor.  They seem to be getting scarce now.

My local bloke had a few i cleaned him out as thats the pump we use on our old brobo saw..

I had to buy a new one recently 140 odd dollars could not find a kit.

There are a couple of sources.

One is classiccarbs.com.au (he's located in Queensland), and has a wide range of AC fuel and vacuum pump kits.

The other is chevsofthe40s.com.  From the looks of the seals in the picture and my memory of those in a red motor fuel pump kit, repair kit 5592988 ('52-'57) would be the go.

I think they both get their kits from the same supplier.

I picked up the kit from Classic Carbs yesterday.  We were only a few k away from them.  Gavin, the owner, told me he has the rights to use the Gos dies to cut all types of gaskets. He also told me that he can do the full kits for the grey motors with the vacuum pumps.

Keith, I bought one of his grey motor kits for my vacuum pump but the rubber seal that goes on the diaphragm shaft is the wrong size.   The local guy at Express Engineering in Toowoomba has some NOS Goss kits for grey motors.   Had to buy another full kit off him to get the right seal.  Mike
