For sale is my 1959 FC Special. Pretty good condition. Considering it age.

Clutch:
New master cylinder
New slave cylinder
New hose and steel line
New clutch plate, throwout bearing and pressure plate
Gearbox overhauled by the Gearbox Factory

Brakes:
New master cylinder
New wheel cylinders
New hoses
New brake linings all round
The front steel lines have been replaced - the rear one from the junction back has not been done yet.
Front and rear park brake cables have been replaced.

Cooling:
New water pump
New hoses
Brass welsh Plugs
Radiator recored.

All door weatherstrips and windlace replaced.

Electric wipers, but have vacuum motor to put back to original if needed.

AM/FM MP3 player - bridged to mono through the dash speaker.

Tyres all new including spare.

Registered until August 2011. Runs and drives quite well. Sills inner out outer good. Floor good. Crossmembers have been repaired by putting channel over the rusted areas and welding it on. NOT my repair, this was done 18 or so years ago before it was garaged. It does run warm in the summer. I have installed an electric fan in front of the radiator and a stainless overflow.

Compression 115 115 112 112 115 115

This is an incredibly difficult thing to do, I have put blood into getting this thing on the road, but I plan on moving and I'm afraid I cannot take this car with me. I have not offered it for sale anywhere else yet.

$7800

Regards
Mike

P.S. I have been sitting here for the last 10 minutes not wanting to hit the post button.

I had a look at this car just before Mike put it up for sale, and I had a drive of it.

The car is in very good condition, I reckon that it is well worth what is being asked for it.

It drives so smoothly too.  I drove it from a cold start up, after a short period of time to warm up.  The engine pulls very well, no hesitation.  The clutch works beautifully as do the brakes.  Gear selection is a breeze and it holds itself in gear too.

I'd have to say that it is a well sorted out, very original car.
