They are worth what people are prepared to pay for them. Magneto's were highly sought after and were very expensive. The amin advantage was that the higher you revved the engine the better spark you got. You also did not need to have a battery once started.

If someone is building a race car or hot "period" grey motor then a magneto would be very high on the shopping list.

The word RARE is used four times in the description so you know it's not going to be cheap
and mentions HOT GREY MOTOR five times so you know it's going to be expensive

Thank god he didn't use "NASCO ACCSESSORY"
cause you would then know it's way overpriced
and you could never afford it

 I can buy a lot of points, coils and condensors for that!
