Marty Dean makes really nice stainless tanks.. not cheap but excellent quality.

you can repair the tank also.

I think he had an association with Streetneat, but hasn't he moved to NZ

You're right Zulu, there was a "association/partnership" at one stage.

Thanks for the link - I've tried the mobile phone number before (and again today) and it only lets you leave a "phone number" not an actual message - uuugh! And the landline number on that page is "still" disconnected (yep, I've tried that one before too).

Oh well, obviously they don't need/want any more business!

Thanks anyway.

Streetneat lives in New Zealand, so probably best to try someone else.

Cheers

Oh no - I hope Marty hasn't vanished into thin air... I was going to buy one of his tanks when I get back to Australia. I have spoken to him a few times on this number - 0421060996. I'm not sure if this the same number that you've tried, Kathi. But you're right - there really doesn't seem to be any other way to contact him.

Streetneat visits this site from time to time, perhaps he has a new contact number for Marty.

Cheers,

Yep Josh that's the number I've tried.

And thanks Paul - I'm not worried about bringing stuff in from outside of Oz as we do it all the time.  It'd just be nice to be able to get an idea of prices so I could work out the logistics of it all as opposed to getting something made locally, that's all.  Smiley

Pete,

Marty was making sedan and wagon tanks in stainless. They were deeper than the original, too. They retailed for just over $900, from memory. If you could make them (for a sedan), I'd be a buyer.

Cheers,

Josh

I have an e-mail address for Martin but it dates from 2005. Can PM if you want to try it.
