Who is going to Wintersun this year? I see that Wintersun 2011 will be held in Port Macquarie with Wintersun Mildura to be held in August 2010. Mike.

I'll be there, gigging with one of the bands. Won't be taking a car though. I think it's a bit of a shame that it will be moving away from Coolongatta in the future. Its built up such a profile there. Last year I had a beer with a bunch of Kiwi's who had come across the water for it. I recall them saying that they wouldn't attend in the future if the festival was moved - getting there would just become too difficult/costly Oh well, I'm looking forward to it!  |

I think it's a bit of a shame that it will be moving away from Coolongatta in the future. Is Wintersun still happening at all on the Gold coast this year  Pedro |

i'm going doubt i'll go to port mac though i like coolangatta for the weather shops didn't like the extra buisness  i'm a bit of a scheptic and a bit of reading between the lines i think the organisers were after some kickbacks, not underhandedly |

I'll be there in my FJ as usual. I always stay there for a week.
I loved the whole thing cars and music and where it's held.
I have heard on the grapevine that maybe wintersun is gone but something will replace it.

Last year it was held at Kirra Sportsgrounds - Appel Street
Pretty sure it was on the Saturday morn from memory also

Just made it back home had a great time, had a good time in the cruise on friday night, even snuck into the sunday cruise for a quick lap, looking forward to the new event for next year,www.coolyrockson.com.
