I was wondering if anyone could be of assistance. The valve rocker arms in my grey motor are not putting out any oil at the oil outlet holes. However the pipe leading up to the oil connector nut for the rocker assembly is getting oil. If I block the oil bleed hole on oil connector nut however the oil comes out of the rocker outlets. Does the oil connector nut bleed hole supposed to be fitted with a grub screw? Or am I lacking oil pressure? The motor goes fine doesn't use any oil and has heaps of grunt for a grey motor.

Hi Dave The oil bleed hole is left unblocked from the factory, that's normal. An old modification was to block this hole with a tight fitting self tapper or grub screw. This then gives alot more oil to the rockers and shaft, especally the front half of the shaft which is higher than the bleed hole and normally dosn't get too much oil up inside it.Block up the hole! hope this helps  Tony
