I am contemplating removing the hold down latch attached to the bonnet so I can  have it re plated.  This is attached with a pin that is penned over at one end.  Is there a replacement pin available or should I use a bolt.  Any thoughts appreciated.

Keith when you remove the pin  you can reused it... it can be center bored and tapped and a small button head bolt screwed in to retain it or make up a new pin  if you are chasing originality ...But a bolt Yuk  Shocked Shocked ........FC427.....

Thanks Mark.  I agree with you about the bolt.  Thanks for the suggestion - easy enough to do.
