Hi all, How do I test a diff without pulling apart to see if it is LSD or open centre.

If you turn the tailshaft yoke and you can stop either one of the axles by hand, it is not an LSD.

Jack up rear, turn one wheel, if wheel on other side spins in same direction it is an LSD if spins opposite its an open wheeler....
