Hi All,

Just ran into a little snag.  I purchased a NOS kingpin kit of ebay that is supposed to suit 48-FC but it doesn't appear to be correct.  My front end has nuts on the cotter pins, whereas the new kit doesn't have any thread on the cotter pins.  Apparently the kingpins are different size too.

Mine is late FC - any ideas if kingpins might vary between models ?

Cheers
Peter

I had the same problem,NOS king pins from ebay. The ones I took out are about an inch longer than the NOS ones.I had a look through the FJ workshop manual and it appears they may be shorter.Lucky I have an FJ that I can use them on or I would have been fairly p#ssed off.Stupidly left feedback before realising the difference. Huh Angry
