What Nige is referring to is the trim no and the paint no underneath the body no.

Cape Ivory standard sedan (as we discussed the other night).

The interior was Fall Red.

The paint number 256-2158 confirms that the trim number. If you can find it, the chassis number is also a useful piece of data. On an FC it should be on the driver's side inner guard, pretty easy to find. It's the best indicator of when the vehicle was made if the original engine number isn't available.
