interior trim

Hi everyone the interior of my FE is fall red and in pretty good nick.I bought some new backing boards for the door trims but the vinyl has shrunk and the upholsterer can't get it to fit.We have heard different stories about the material, that it was made in oz and is not available anywhere to it was imported from the US and will probably be available from someone like sms trims. Has anyone any ideas about where we might find some or am I just dreaming  thanks Dave

SMS would be a good option unless you stumble across an old trimmer with some stock.
You could try heating the original vinyl to get some stretch out of it, attach the top of the trim, heat carefully and stretch

If you can find a front seat in the same colour, the back section provides a reasonable amount of material. Material in any colour can be matched if sprayed.
