ive just got an fc ute and i can't read chassis number on right hand inner gaurd  it starts with an 8 and ends with an s but has been repainted and i can't really see numbers. how do i get this no compliance plate reads fc2106 1064 ?   thanks ken

Unfortunately there is no way to obtain the number other than removing the paint. There are no records of chassis and body numbers. I have checked my records and it is not on my list.

Might be a long shot, but does it have a rego label of any sort.
The chassis number appears on the label.

Try rubbing chalk over the number.  It may male it a little more legible.

I'll correct my mistake.  I should have read "It may make it, ie the number, more legible.

The keys are too close on the keyboard at times.
