Anything can be made to fit, with enough time, steel and a welder  Wink
A few people have fitted various tanks over the years, doing a search (up the top of the page) should turn up a few options. Otherwise a wanted ad for a tank or if you are cashed up there is a bloke that makes stainless tanks, Ed should be able to help with contact details.

If it is a sedan, then a LC LJ Torana tank will fit in!  Although this may be just as hard to find as a FE FC tank.

From what i have been reading on the forum, about the cheapest and easiest tank to source and fit is from a VN- VS commodore , this will also help with an efi motor as they have the pump in the tank already.
I picked 1 up for a dollar ! XA-XC ford tanks fit and have a spare wheel well in them but they will be expensive if they are dent/ rust free.

Yes - cut out the old floor section and replace / rebuild to suit the VN tank and tank strap mounts. Other than the LC LJ tank, which I wasn't aware of - everything else will require metal fabrication and modification to make it fit.
