Hi all,

I have an FC with the oil light flicking on at idle and low RPM. Can anyone please help me with solutions to this problem

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Grey motors don't run terribly high oil pressure. My car has a Wilsonia gauge rather than the idiot light, and the oil pressure sits on 25 psi when operating at highway speed, and drops down to about 6psi at idle. You can clearly see the pressure rise and fall as you apply the revs.

It could be that your oil-pressure switch is a little sensitive - you could try changing it and see if it helps.

But some other questions before you do that:

How old/tired is your engine?
What grade oil are you using in it?
