How lucky can you be - a Warwick yellow HK GTS 327 Monaro sitting rusting in your back paddock?

That's amazing

If you actually went to pick up the car you wouldn't have to check the air pressures in the tandem trailer tyres.  Wink

Stuff all metal left in that thing and it would weigh bugger all.

certainly an easy way to transform your old 6 cyl tagged hk into a V8, and tripple your price, though trying to find the matching engine numbers etc would be a tad difficult.
but im sure there would be someone out there who wouldnt worry about looking too deep into it. just to say 'yeah i have an original V8 hk'

I read a story  about a guy that found out what the engine number was and grind the number of his old motor and put the right number down Shocked Shocked so how dodgy was that
 Huh

guy across the road sold a pretty rusted out hk gts 327 that had its id plates and carb stolen for $1000, it was sad to see it get dragged down the driveway but i nearly passed out when he said he sold it for $1000, someone from out of state came up to buy it, it had been sitting under a tree for about 15 years collecting leaves, the new owner reckoned he was going to fit all new rear quarters and stuff
