Is the pinion angle the same on early holdens, FE to HR?
If so, what is the angle?

 It is suppose to be the same angle as the back of the gear box if you put a straight edge on the back of the box up and down and a straight edge on the rear yolk up  and down the measurement should be the same top and bottom some say it is good to vary the angle a couple of degrees so it doesn't wear the universals in the same spot but up to you  ......FC427.......

I did know the why's, I just need an angle on a standard diff.
