I just bought two nos copper head gaskets from e- bay . No one else bid on them . So are they still good after all those years or have I wasted my money  Embarrassed .
Or maybe nobody wants to put copper head gaskets on their car anymore? Shocked.

How old are they Huh? maybe no one wants to put asbestos near the self's or family. Just a caution make sure they do not contain asbestos FC427

They do contain asbestos but it is relatively safe - do not shake about any dust inside the packaging.
They are quite OK to use on the car.

I have to disagree NO exposure to Asbestos is safe After seeing some one die from it and seeing what they went through I would not handle it or have it around my family or Home just to save a few $$$$$  FC427

Thanks for the replies.
I thought that the gaskets would be ok.
FC427 . I did not buy the gaskets to "save a few dollars " I bought them because they are the original type gaskets suplied with the car. I'm trying to keep the car as original as possible and if that means having asbestos in the head gasket than so be it. I am fully aware of the carcinogenic effects of asbestos and I can assure you I will take all necessary safety precautions.
