Pie deliveries in Mackay

Found this great collection of old Australian photos from 1959-60.

There are plenty of great shots there, but by far the best one is this one of an old FE Panel Van at work delivering Byrnes Hot Pies in Mackay, 1959....



And the close up... gotta love the blinds, the oven in the back and that great sign on the roof...

Yep, It's a beauty Les, I think it was set up that way to sell pies & drinks out of the back at workplaces & or events.

I love, Football, Meat pies, Kangaroos and Holden working cars.
