Trevor & Chris Black are happy to announce the adoption of "Bert" the ute,

a brother to Beatrice.

Bert has come about thanks to Kevin (RedMR2Red). Kevin and Carol remembered Chris was after a FC Ute (which is a prized possesion down in Vic) after serious discussions at the Awards dinner during the Nationals CYC.

Bert has started the common bare metal rebuild so many of us have endured. Thankfully, he is fairly rust free having come from Roma QLD.

Will post progress photos.

After lots of work the ute was painted this weekend... a sample shot of the right rear - 4 coats of Hot House Green + 2 of Clear (off the gun finish).

Hope to have it on the road in about 5 months, should be right for the Nationals in Mt Gambier.
