8  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Distributor seal/"o" ring on: September 30, 2008, 06:52:58 PM
Hi guys,
When I rebuilt my motor the only seal I did not replace was the distributor "o" ring seal. The seal has been causing a nuisance weep. I have found some imperial "o" rings that are the same size and two fit snuggly in the groove. So for all intensive purposes this should do the job. I have been told the original is not available any more. Is this correct or does any one know where to get a new one ?

Appreciate your comments or help.

15  For Sale and Wanted / Parts For Sale / Re: Good Fe/fc assorted parts on: June 23, 2006, 03:15:01 AM
Hi SLIM,
there is a new FC coming into ACT, a white and black sedan. I had a call from him the other night wanting parts. I will pass your number on to him. He is a member of the CACMCC and I will vouch for him as regards to reliability. It would be good if you text me your mobile phone number as I dont have it any more. This guy does not have or use the internet.

Rob,
the car is a 1936 Plymouth, in recent months I got the body back on the chassis, long term project, so in that land of opportunity down south if you find 1936 plymouth/chrysler/dodge bits give me a call

I wondered how the wagon colour scheme was different, and I thought yellow/black was only early 58
Maybe the "gurus" can shed some light
