I'm getting back to all those most helpful considerations on this topic and to let you all know I decided to go with the VH/44J on my FC Standard bussiness sedan, It performs like a treat.
The booster was purchased from Burt brothers of Fairfield in N.S.W. who told me this booster would be suitable for my car.

Hi, can anyone tell me is a VH/44JA brake booster unit suitable for an all drum FC holden.

This beautiful Holden FC Station Sedan is a wonderful piece of Australian Motoring history. It is in excellent condition and you will be proud to own and drive it. 
The current owner has owned and cared for the vehicle since 1970. It is being sold reluctantly after being loved & cared for, driven, and now restored to its original condition. 
The colour is two tone painted in India Ivory and Empress Maroon. 
Registered in NSW till February 2017 
Recent restoration details include:
- Body completely bead blasted to metal and repainted in original colours
- Full interior and upholstery restoration to original stitching and layout, including all door trims
- High quality cut pile maroon carpet installed in passenger area and luggage compartment
- All window and door rubbers replaced
- Door wind lacing replaced
- All bailey channels replaced with original chrome edge type
- All window glass rubbers replaced including windscreen
- Door scuffs chrome plated. 
Engine details include:
- Engine rebuilt by BM Higginbottom P/L and has done little work
- Radiator is 4 Tube Brass core
- Gear Box rebuilt with double row rear race
- New clutch and bearing replaced
- Brakes relined with bonded shoes, cylinders stainless steel sleeved. New brass wheel cylinders and rubbers installed. 
Tyres are in excellent condition. 
All paper work and receipts for major work are available to inspect. 
One owner for the past 46 years. Always garaged, maintained and driven frequently.  The vehicle has always been in as manufactured condition and not modified. It has now been carefully restored.  Located in a Rural area away from the coast.

Hi fellas and gals, the information I require is regarding the master cylinder oneway valve, the question is does it need to be installed into the master cylinder if a brake booster is installed.
I recently overhauled the brake master cylinder and what I discovered was it didn't have a non return valve although I got one in my brake kit.
Should it be installed?

I paid $400 for my new old stock but now I can buy them at rare spares for about $100 or so and they are just as good or better than the original.

Thanks graham, for years I enjoyed the car just sitting in my garage but didn't use it much, last year I did 7 miles and I was using so I decided to sell it to someone that would take care of it as I did even though I had a few good offers but didn't want my car going to some of these potential buyers that wouldn't care as much as I have.
So pleased it's going back to a person I know would take care of it.
In 2004 I got this car and it had 34000 + original miles on the clock today it has 35000 miles not much in 12 years.

I should add no test run required just the looks that sold it👍

Just an update, the car has been sold to the original owner and will be going back to Trundle N.S.W.😊

Think it's the same as the Orange nationals👍
