Would be good if you get the sill made,with a Swage line that copies the join,with 25ml added so you can Butt Weld it to the lower panel.This has always been the problem area for rust and cracking,good luck

Had a guy from the FB/EK car club come today for the diff,i told him i can't help him lift it out coz of my crook back,so he pulls the axles out,then the centre,lucky it's on the hoist,it's easier to catch the oil,anyway I get my $20 S/Cheap trolley to make it easier for him to cart the parts to his trailer when he spots some thing we both found strange,the centre is LSD,we checked and it's a 3,89,well I didn't know they exsisted nor did he [Daryl]he said he'd understand if I wanted to keep it,well I thought about it and said no it's yours buddy,but try and find me an LJ diff for the right price then we'll both be happy,he was even happy with the finned drums that came with it.I'm thinking they must of made a certain nmbr of these centres,or it's been made up,i do know it's a 1 owner car I bought from Bendigo around 14yrs ago,and the ladies Grandfather worked at Fishermans Bend.

Same guy with the heater has a nasco engine lifter for 90 bucks,cheap as,g/tree melb ,just now.

Spotto just now on g/tree,Smiths b/hive heater,all hoses,switch,looks in good nic,cheap,in Melb.

Most off us know the original floor pan replacement panel was a thicker panel,it was the same as the fe/fc floor that came off the production line,so why change it Ken,20 yrs ago I got them at Rares,it was all good then,it's not about the money,i continue to buy from them as I've done for 40yrs,it's not always right but they welcome the critics and do their best to improve.

Did that over a year ago,as long as they keep selling,do you honestly think they will change!NO,so you think there ok?Good value for money are they?A quality product ?I'll moan all day if it gets them to lift their game so we all get a good deal.

We have ADR rules in place for what our cars should be built and fitted with,and I think,imo,Rares have missed the mark with their 'tin can' floor pans,i assume these are made in China for 50cents and sold here for $70,moneys not the issue here,it's the product,i hope they fix this problem as there's lots of unhappy guys out there!

I would see an engineer first,if your capable to build your chassis kit,he will show you,saving you lots,as for f/ends,get paperwork,pics.etc,from approved companys and show him,not all engineers are the same,let him tell you what he prefers,it makes it all easier for you in the long run,good luck.
