The number plates belong (or used to) to Streetneat, and seeing that this isn't "Miss Lead" his FC coupe,
I would dare to go as far to suggesting it is a very good Photoshop

Crowbar, one of the reasons they give you angles rather than actual heights from set vehicular points, is the various seating that you MAY have, buckets bench etc - each one will have a different "angle"  in relation to height of the mounting point when fitted.

if you have worked out your final seating - then it may make it a little easier to find that elusive "spot"

14  For Sale and Wanted / Auction and Trade Links / Re: Are these for real? on: July 19, 2012, 07:22:13 PM
Fairly common for Steve to advertise cars that "are not really for sale" at prices that will raise "interest" in the cheaper ones (25 - 30K) he has at upcoming auctions etc.

Once a salesman always a salesman

BUT

Of course he says it is all in the interest of bringing new members to the NSW FB EK Car Clubs, so good on him for being so selfless!

15  Technical Board / General Technical / Re: steering box on: July 10, 2012, 09:47:53 PM
You might be thinking of Roger Hancock, or holdenmanrestomotive. He is located in Ferntree Gully in Victoria and really knows his stuff.

Had one Steering box rebuilt about a year ago and he does a top quality job on the box, and with the rollers in it lightens the steering just a little (or feels like it anyway), brilliant to deal with and will ship it back and forth if needed.

or email him on:
holdenmanrestomotive  AT  gmail  DOT  com  Dot  au

have also PM'd his mobile number if you want to have a chat with him.

Paul Kelly = Croozin Skirts = fantastic product and great guy!
I think from memory he shut down the shop recently - pretty sure I still have his number somewhere, will try to ring him and see if he is still making them? or as suggested above try FB EK forum he does post over there (infrequently - he seems to get hammered for his opinions for some reason)

18  General / General Board / Speedo Recalibration link on Tech page down on: June 24, 2012, 09:01:46 AM
Hi Guys, not sure who posted the original link on the Tech articles page - but there was an informative article on how to re calibrate your speedo, the link now does not work and simply says Geocities is closed or some such message. Anyone have the article, information or new link???

Cheers

19  Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: Trimatic behind a Grey on: June 19, 2012, 08:10:14 PM
Rogers kits are 110% fantastic! I have used two of them in different cars and both were spot on. There are quite a few people on the forum that have used them and (from memory) none of them had issues fitting them either. Just a simple easy to install kit that comes with just about everything you need. Roger is always happy to help with info or assistance is you do happen to run into any problems as well.

M!
P.S. not affiliated in any way just a very happy customer!
20  Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: FC Auto on: June 18, 2012, 06:48:47 PM
I have been running my Grey / Trimatic combo for years and just used the original Stally from the donor car,

Omalley have never heard of the need to change stally, might have to look into that if ever mine plays up

Will definitely need to change diff ratio though the 3:89 will be shocking! I am running a 3:36 and it is heaven! but 3:55 is also highly recommended - depending on wheel tyre combo
