I used Mitsubishi Colt in my FB very easy to fit and you can have the head rest removed before trimming if you wish I am going to have mine removable because i don't know about the new R.T.A. laws concerning this point

Hi Brett
Bench tested the wiper set up to day I am as happy as a pig in S--t it all works  "which you new anyway" I was surprised at the little difference there is between 1st speed and 2nd speed I didn't have arms on and I didn't count the revolution  just didn't seam that different but VNs use them so must be OK. I would like to thank you again for the know how and help, I am Shaw it will help others in my position, after all that is what these forums are all about isn't it

Thanks again Brett
I got the wiper motor sorted ,turns out that the nut on the vn wiper was a little bit bigger than  the ek the shafts are the same size so all worked as you said ,I made a new base plate and drilled it to suit all's well there to, The next problem I can see is setting the wipers up so they will park in the correct place as I took the little z shaped arm off before I marked the park position on the shaft. Any suggestion on how to set the wiper blades up correctly.I know I have been a bit of pain in the ass but I wouldn't have got this far without your help.
                       Thanks BILLY

Hi Brett
I have bought a VN wiper motor, I have to change a few things the VN wiper has a larger shaft on it than the EK That's not a problem I can over come that the problem I have is How did you extend the VN wiper motor shaft by 10 mm Thanks BILLY
Billy,
I used the original base plate and redrilled it so it was horizontal. I think it looks better than leaning downwards. Also allows more space between the engine. If you have the original FB EK arms they all bolt up.
The arm that goes onto the motor itself i extended (raised) it about 10 mm to clear the fire wall. when you mount the motor you will see what i mean.Regards Brett

Hi brett
I am new to this forum but have been on the fb/ek forum for a while . I do realise that your wiper motor conversion post is old ( to you ) but i have interest in it i am wondering , the bracket that is on the vn motor  it self is swapped from ek ? mine seems to be swagged on is this right or is it just stubborn and screws of i have all the ek wiper arms etc any help with this conversion will be very helpfull
    Thanks
