in the pertronix range i think its the 3 ohm coil you need,
but if it for a 6 cylinder i think they only sell 3 ohm

yes you can, you are going to get there points replacement module
can't recommend it highly enough

if you dont want that coil you can just get a Bosch GT40

If you can't get one
Try a company called hallite in Victoria
They will more then likely have one on the shelf, but you'll need to know the sizes to .001"

And if not they can fab 1 up for you
I use this company all the time for custom seals and standard seals in hydraulic applications,

that's good sound deadener, we use to use it inside hydraulic hammers on excavators to make them more quite and it worked very well, knocked about 20db of the sound, doesn't sound like much but 20db when you up around 140-150bd without it, it good stuff,

one thing i can say about it, is dont spray it to thick as it will peal, just one even layer, and it will last.

very nice build and good detailed pics as well,

+1 with ken

I had the same thing the other week, thought it was the points, so i decided to change out and fit electronic,
and whilst doing so i found that 1 spark plug had lost it tip inside the lead, so only running on 5 cylinders and the wiring to the coil was frayed,

rewired the car and fitted electronic ignition, new button, cap, leads, plugs and coil and now runs like a new engine,

if i were you get your self a test light or multimeter,

370  For Sale and Wanted / Auction and Trade Links / Re: These legal? on: March 02, 2012, 07:28:17 PM
that vicroads link refers to wheel spaces not wheel adaptors, and yes spacers are illegal

but theis are classed as wheel adaptors, and when purchased from most tyre shops they come with the paperwork and report
371  For Sale and Wanted / Auction and Trade Links / Re: These legal? on: March 02, 2012, 03:22:07 PM
There ok u Vic to use
I use them on nilly all my cars

I had a set on a hq with ford rear end to give me comodore stud pattern all round

There very common on old cars I've ordered a set for the fc
But there to dear most tyre shops are $100pr so $200 for the set, with papers,
