my boys always refused to ride in my wagon (unless they needed a lift to the pub) and always refered to it as "THE OLD LADIES CAR"  ( but theyre into commodes & fords , so what would they know about style & class anyway.)
i refer to it as "THE GLIDE"........(glide   surfings equivalent to criusing)

this probably wont help.......i couldnt get the spring clip off my door handle...after a while & some frustration...found the clip had been put on back to front.... took two seconds
then i had to get the window regulator out . followed instructions in manual  but it wouldnt fit between glass and door panel......after a while & some more frustration...found it came out easy if you roll it towards front of car &downwards....took two seconds

gday mike.
my regular mechanic had concerns with stress loads with disc brakes on the kingpin frontend so i opted for the hr conversion with torana discs. the car handles and corners a lot better on the country roads and stops smoother straighter and quicker. talk to blown fc,he did my conversion- the travelling to mandurah is worth it. next trip i'm hoping mark can sort out the column shift for the auto.

got one from club member for price of club shirt.
one of the guys at work is playing with some of the other 13 regulators iv'e got to see if they can be modified to suit.he said it looks reasonably simple- punch out the rivets ,flip it over & rivet together ?

how scarce are window regulators.. drivers door 58 wagon.  whats there value.    wreckers have only 1in stock .wants $66. i,m still looking.

i can't put pictures on the computer.   but surferboys lowly wagon did make it into the pages of Cruzin magazine. issue 42  oz files.        i love Cruzin, you dont need a top dollar show car to get in there.
P.S. noticed issue 43 oz files has another FC. i love Cruzin ..lots of FCs

We've reached a compromise.
Cathy will.... put up with a 6 day drive across the nullabor in the wagon , 4 days of insesent inncec enses insc..nonstop chatter about car stuff & freezing cold mornings.
Surferboy will.....pay for the week in a 5star sydney hotel.
           

gday les.the wagon was painted by a previous owner, its a mitsubishi (sorry for swearing mum )colour. i call it - boring beige. when i win lotto i will fix the bodywork and paint it blue (subaru wrx colour) with white flash (?)
