Are there any different front door hinges or is there a difference from top and bottom?
My passenger door doesn't fit, Bottom is fine but the top sits out a lot.
Ive already had to redrill the top hing holes to be able to move it forward enough too.

Had to make a decision on entering the Nat's, I don't think I'm far enough along to enter. I'm going to keep at it and if I get it finished I'll drive it to Hobart and check you all out.

We will make plans for the next one. Does any body know where it will be?

its granite grey/India ivory, but the paint shop didn't have the mix codes so took a sample of one of the old doors.
i did try the stainless side strip on it and it did look better.

I bought another set of seats from a EK, I thought fe through to ek where the same, but it seems the rear seat top is different. the ek is flat and fc would be more rounded to follow the back shelf.

oh and i need a script for the glove box door.

Ive worked out i have 18 full days i can work on my FC before the Nationals. What are the chances its going to be finished?

But im still doing what i can when i can.

im happy with this guard and how its come up, shouldnt need too much filler, the other guard is also good to go.

I had to rebuild the lower door section and had nothing to go by as they where rusted away, but got lots of pictures from this forum to go by.

seat belt mount

ok, i used a rust converter that turned it all black, gave that a very light sand and then about 3 coats of primer/filler rubbed it back with 240 dry paper, took a fair bit off, then 360 dry paper and its nice and smooth and has a slight shine to it.
I had to fill a few very light dents that i had taken out with spot filler and now i just have to give it a another thick coat and another light sand to put the colour on. But i won't be doing that until i get the door jams and rear guards prepped for primer.
