1  For Sale and Wanted / Cars For Sale / Re: Where would I go to sell a 48-215 FX? on: May 15, 2011, 04:50:34 PM
Hey,
the car is still up for sale, we're in Northern Victoria towards Echuca. As you will see Jeff didn't get far with the repairs, he had mainly just done structural work in fixing any dints. I should also add it has been sitting in that spot in the yard for atleast the last five years :/

If anyone is still interested, feel free to make an offer  Smiley

We also have the original odometer that goes in the dash, Jeff had removed it when he was repairing the metal on the inside

Thanks, Sherrie

I'm located in Victoria
It's a great car for someone looking to restore old cars as it's the body of a '48 FX Utility and doesn't have an engine unfortunately.
But we have many of the original parts and I will post photos ASAP, but I have currently misplaced the cord that connects the camera to the computer.

If you any questions or wish to enquire, feel free to inbox/email me.

3  For Sale and Wanted / Cars For Sale / Where would I go to sell a 48-215 FX? on: April 30, 2011, 04:42:01 PM
I realise this forum is just for FCs and such, but my husband (who created this account) passed away about 10 months ago and I am looking to sell the old FX he was going to restore as I do not know anyone skilled enough to do it.
I know there is a FX/FJ forum but it says you can have a web email and I don't know what that means Undecided

Any help as to where to go to sell it would be fantastic,
Thanks

Sherrie

The Car was a 1957 FC Holden, it was rebuilt about 14 years ago now.
Was a very long process might I add. There are photos from start to finish of the car so I'll upload a few more.
When I rebuilt it we bought the 'OLD FC' number plates, which we thought was a nice touch.

How it was when I got it

The seat i recovered in all black, I can't think of much else to add at this point..
