Ok todays effort My question is how many are running thermos on the front ? They are stepped off the core 15mm ?
Pete, I tried a few configurations and in my case twin 10 inch thermos on the front were not sufficient. In the end a shrouded engine fan was perfect, with twin thermos on the front that would kick in at certain temp. I wired them in to the ECU to come on as if AC was on.. so there was a temp set point and at certain speeds. with that set up it could idle through Sydney CBD during peak summer without the needle on the temp gauge moving... a hi flow Milodon thermostat was also installed. the rad was a 4 row, cut down to fit under the bonnet latch panel with torana tanks. see thread http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/index.php/topic,12243.0.htmlCheers Ed

Here's a little project update it's been about 12 months... not alot of Holden in this one besides an HK steering column. Chassis boxed, jag front fitted, diff shortened, 4 link rear tacked in, engine and trans being fitted now. Unfortunately an FC wont be slung over the top. here was a mock up prior to setting up the chassis in teh jig, so ride height could be determined. anyway it's Friday, hope you enjoy it. Cheers Ed

Hey Pedro,
I used "speed clips" fitted over the vent lip, and then drilled the dash where the factory holes would have been.
If anybody has the fitting template and could post it, would be much appreciated. I seem to have lost mine.
alternatively use sikaflex or similar adhesive into the vent opening.
Cheers
Ed
