1  For Sale and Wanted / Parts For Sale / Re: Moving overseas, garage clean out on: July 30, 2009, 11:23:57 AM
Hi everyone

Spats, whitewalls, electric wiper motors are gone. Someone has a hold on the chrome bits, so most of the "good stuff" has gone.

I'm keen to sell the exhaust system. It came off a FC sedan with a 149 red motor from engine pipe to tailpipe incl muffler, its new, make an offer

Thanks

2  For Sale and Wanted / Parts For Sale / Moving overseas, garage clean out on: July 28, 2009, 04:17:01 PM
Hi everyone

I'm moving overseas for a few years at the end of August, and need to clean out the garage.

Sorry, I don't have time to pack and ship/post anything, so pickup from Castle Cove only (North Shore in Sydney). Please also call me on my mobile 0402 891 337, I may not check the forum all that regularly. Sorry for all the conditions, but I'm a  bit pressed for time with lots to do and anything I don't sell is going into storage.

I've got loads of "stuff" all of it for FC will try to list most of it below, but if there is anything you need let me know. All pricing is fair and negotiable

Original rear wheel spats. Okay condition, I paid $150 for them years ago
Set of four ATLAS flapper white walls. Brand new haven't taken them out of the package, paid $150
Chrome bonnet hinges, no springs but you shouldnt chrome them anyway (never fitted) -  make an offer
Chrome front stabiliser bar (never fitted) - make an offer
Complete standard steel exhaust system, end to end incl muffler - make an offer
tri matic transmission, not sure of condition but I think it will be okay $5
EH sump and pickup paid $50 for it years ago
old starter motors and generators, condition unknown $5
loads of taillights, lenses
I have a couple of really good condition original surrounds for the ignition/wiper/choke etc - make an offer
heaps of trim bits in varying condition
really good set of 13 " chrome wheel trims
A couple of Electric wiper motors condition unknown
the rest is odds and ends, not sure what I might find....

Cheers,

Tony

Hi there

I have a spare set of FC/FE wheel arch spats for sale. They are original, pretty good condition, one of the brackets missing and has a hole in eack one where it looks like they were screwed into the guard? I had this set and a repro set, the repro was easier to spray and finish so I have no need for this set. But if you want original, then these are for you !! I paid $150 for them a few years back, looking for the same price. Pick up in Castle Cove Sydney much prefered, I really dont want to pack and post if I can avoid it....slack I know.... Call Tony 0402 891 337. Cheers

7  For Sale and Wanted / Parts Wanted / HD parts wanted on: June 24, 2007, 09:24:49 AM
Hi everyone

I have recently tracked down and purchased our grandfathers original HD Premier, it left the family 14 yrs ago and has taken me 4 yrs to find. So pretty happy, and luckily it is still pretty original but a little worse for wear than when it was last seen in 1993.

Anyhow, I'm on the collection trail for HD bits and pices, it is green on white with brown mokkoride interior, and very standard. I need pretty well everything, there is a lot of repro stuff out there, but I'd rather find some good orignial NOS gear if I can.

So if anyone has any HD/HR bits that they want to unload, please let me know. Eg:

Nasco accessories
Original parts of any type
interior/trim
ARMRESTS !! any colour, just good nick
dress rims, mud flaps

double pulley and fan for power steering (I have the rest of the kit)

Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks

16  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Fitting Seat Belts on: January 12, 2007, 03:07:07 AM
Hi All,

My seatbelts arrived back from Perth today and I am VERY happy with the job they have done.

Am going to fit them this weekend, lap/sash front and rear; four in total. I have decided to drill right through the B Pillar; I figure that was the way they were installed back in the 60's so good enough for me and for authenticity.

If anyone has some tips, tricks, things to watch out for I would greatly appreciate (before I start drilling) How far up the pillar, etc. Also if anyone has some basic intstructions? I am going to set to work using a commonsense method, but once I've drilled its too late, so any advice welcomed. Thanks in advance

Hi All,

Does anyone have a set of original or repro rubber seals that they could take a pic of, measure, or both? I didnt do any good at Clark Rubber, Rares said that they probably have something but would need a sample and/or measurements before they go out the back and look for the stock. Thanks in advance,

Tony

Hi All,

Just been to Repco for brake master and wheel cylinder rubber kits and they claim they cant get the rear anymore. Who do you recommend I source these kits from? Rare Spares? any other recommendations. Just want to save a lot of running around if I can. Oh, and in Sydney. Thanks
