48  Technical Board / General Technical / Re: V6 fuel consumpion on: August 19, 2017, 06:40:06 PM
scored some MSD coil packs and new plug leads at a swap. Will put new plugs in also. Will a K&N high flow air filter make a difference? Car has a Daihatsu applause air filter box and cold air is picked up from outside of engine bay. Air filter is 1/3 smaller than a STD commodore. Gone of topic now oh well.
49  Technical Board / General Technical / V6 fuel consumpion on: August 17, 2017, 02:03:56 PM
how many litres per 100 k's are you V6 owners getting. Around town I got 17/100, highway 12.8/100.

I used a 54mm triple row, standard FC top tank custom bottom tank with the hose inlet/outlets moved to suit a V6 in my car. Fits in original position. No overheating issues yet. Also has A/C condenser in front.

What type of carpet are people using with the CRS floor tunnel. I got an auto tunnel set and the fit is shithouse, seems way to big across the tunnel.

springs are sorted now, ended up with HG V8 springs. Ride might be a bit rough but ride height is right.

60  Technical Board / Modification Help / front coil springs V6 on: March 29, 2017, 04:33:14 PM
I have a V6 in my FC. the front end is HR with 2 inch drop spindles. I am running 15 inch commodore rims. From centre of stub to guard is 265mm. I think the springs I used are also 2 inch lowered. Fulcram told me a std hr spring will lift it 40mm. I am worried about the extra weight of the engine. Should I go heavy duty springs std height?
