Thanks guys for your replies. As for the FB cross member i am not sure if the mounting brackets are either the same or same positions as the FC FE. Can anyone verify this. The crossmember i am after is the main one where engine mounts normally go on red motor vehicles. In other words the member that holds the upper and lower wish bones.Regards Brett

Ed i have no idea . i gave the car to Mc Donald bros chasis engineers and told them what i wanted. This was in conjunction with my own engineer. My engineer did not want tubular trailing arms but i had already decided on original instead of the leaf springs. Yes they are going to use coil over shocks but at this stage i don,t know what position.I saw the car this morning and the original wheel arches have been cut out and the 18 inch wheels positioned under so they could measure and shorten the diff accordingly.Looks fantastic even if it is still in undercoat and bare.Took photos for the album.Regards brett

Thanks for the reply ed. It is a VN-VP set up. I thought someone might have a wiring diagram that they have for such a conversion including original ignition switch and accessories. If not i will just unpick the original commodore loom that i have. Regards Brett
