What its meant to mean is: You spend your hard earned $$ on a HSV and within 12 months the market is flooded with look-a-likes. Not every unique looking anymore

You Might be spending your hard earned $$ on a HSV, and the market is flooded with look alikes. No different to a the 100s of GT look alikes, HK,HT,HG, Bathurst monaroes look alikes. They might look the same but unless the NUMBERS MATCH to identify as a GT,BATHURST MONAROE or whatever, its worth DIDDLY SQUAT. So they might look the same, but it's the difference beetween $30,000 for genuine to $3000 for a look alike. Thats just my opinion Wink

122  Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: Fitting Twin Carby Manifold to Grey on: May 06, 2002, 12:06:32 AM
Hey Rod,
No mine isn't set up yet. I am rebuilding a FE ute. But ive got the twin carby manifold, the carbies and the extractors but i have to send away for the linkages myself. I am building my grey motor to go hard, just to show the blokes that bag the grey motors up here just what they can do. I have heard that the twin carbies, and the extractors make a fair bit of difference in performance, which it should. I would leave a message with Ihadav8
he has been there and could probably help you more than i could. All the information and help on performance he has helped me with. You will find him on the members site at the top af the page. If you need anything else or more help just leave me a message and i will help as much as i can

 Grin Good on you KEN,
I am a holden man thru and thru, except for my 1950 Buick but that is GM also. I am restoring a FE special sedan, for the wife, and i am restoring a FE ute for myself. I drive around in a VK commodore, alway's had holdens and alway's will have holdens. Ken is right ford is a four letter word starting with f. But i can think of a 4 letter word also starting with S and ending in T Shocked. But hey each to there own or this would be a boring world if we were all the same. Wink

That is shocking, i was on my way to pick up a fe ute  ;Dsunday morning, and on the way past kilcoy here in queensland, i saw a fe sedan just sitting in a paddock with a old ford. So i stopped and approached the farmer to see if i could have a look at the old fe he said no worries, but its not for sale. When i asked why he just said he liked it sitting in the paddock it gave it character Angry. When i had a look at it motor and gear box was missing, but everything else was perfect doors all the glass no rust only surface here and there and the interior was all perfect seats were a bit faded but that was all. But he wouldnt sell it, so it will slowly just dissolve in the paddock. What a shame Cry
