G-day mate, sorry for such a long delay in reply. computer blew due to power surge, all sweet now. I have got the seat out and it is in fantastic condition. I will add photo's for you by Sunday I hope. that is if you are still interested. i have not showed anyone these items as yet and would be requesting a genuine offer only. cheers Scott.

Hey there Keith,
I noticed your post and thought you might be the guy that could possibly answer my question! I wonder if you would know how much good condition brougham back seat and door trims would be going for, they are black in colour with the "B" stamp on them. I just missed chatin with ya in the chat room b4, sorry mate.

 Huh Hi, Just wondering if any body out there would be able to help me, I want to sell brougham door trims and back bench seat. I have had them stored away for years and am planning to take them out and put them on the market. As far as I know when first stored they were in A1 condition, the seat has only been sat in for a very short period of time vertually as new. they are all stamped with the brougham signature and are black in color. :-/.  thanks for your help. Digger.. Photo's can be organised if anyone is interested but I will need a week or so to get them from there storage space.

Burnsy,

When using the Gemini booster it is best to run a F##d XB master cylinder I think they are a 1" bore.

Thanks for the reply SGO,

The only thing I know is the body widths IE:
Fe : 1701mm
FC : 1702mm
EH : 1727mm
HR : 1778mm
VK : 1722mm
VL : 1722mm
VN : 1794mm
VB : 1722mm
so I think that the diff length of the cars must be very close.

Do you know if the VP diff center is the same as the VL.

VL: Borg Warner 78 series (Salisbury type)

Thanks heaps Sarge, I have a VL diff that was given to me so I guess this weekend I will be doing some mathmatics.
It would be nice to fit the panhard rod, stabiliser bar and coil springs and such but thats to big a job.

Hi there Blown FC,

I have used  pacemakers on my HP block and fitted fine and they where off the shelf.

Also at first I had a set of Genie extractors and I fund them to be ok to, but they rusted out (Old age).
But I'm now running a set of 186"s" headers and I have not noticed any loss in power at all.(only mod to them is they are match ported to the head)

Hi Sarge,

With the convertion on the VL diff do you know if it had to be shortened or dose it fit with deeper ofset rims.

Im running HR diff but wont to go with the Crapadoor stud patern.

They shaw do look the part, will look cool when fitted up!
And thats a nice copy of the tasman cap.

My door trims are in the same colour but have an off white flash at the top.( I think they may have been light blue at one stage but have fadded ).

Hi Rusty,

They look to be EH onwards, the FE FC cylinders had a tin canister and a larger thread into the cylinder than the plastic canister.

Hey Nicko,

I have a nephew that works as a storeman in despatch at Puka, I will talk to him and see if he can find somthing out about the mith of old cars stored on the camp.

My old man often talks about the army burying  a heap of BSA and Harley motor bikes along with Mack trucks and a lot of cars at the old Army camp in Echuca  Vic just after the War, he recons that some pits where dug up some time ago and they did uncover some vehicles.
The Echuca base was the main despatch site for Army vehicles during the war, so Im told.

Hi there Rusty,

The HQ proportioning valve (Limiting Valve ) will work fine.
You can also change the rear wheel cylinder size to a larger bore and will have the same efect.

PBR have a 9/16ths wheel cylinder that will bolt in and you wont need the proportioning valve.

One thing Rusty have you a HR rear drum set up for disk or the standard HR set up and are you boosting the hole brake set up or just the front disks.

Hr disc brake front end, comes complete with booster and master cylinder, will also include complete hr rear end  drum to drum.Front end  looks like it has a set of lowered springs, condition is unknown, would suggest needs a recon b 4 fitting, but its all there, and no visible damage, slight surface rust on discs. I can deliver to Adelaide, or Mildura and surrounding areas for around $30, fuel costs only, anywhere else, buyer to organise, I have access to freight from here Aust wide, threw Fletchers Frieghters, buyer to Organise, will also have other Hr parts for sale soon, 8" by 13 mags, another  disc front end, booster,4speed  Aussie and tailshaft, cross member to suit HR ute.

$200.00 at the moment

hi ya Stinky,
I would try using a small ezyout, don’t know if you have used them before but what you do is carefully find the centre of the offending thread and with a small drill bit drill through to the end of the thread next is to hit in the ezyout until it recess it self and locks on internally then its a mater of just (with a small shifter or a tee key) undoing and hope the threaded end of the screw comes out.
Super cheap do sell a small kit of 4 ezyouts and are quite cheap.
