sounds good, and nobby's is as good a place to cruise as any.

thanks for the advice, maybe i'll get to thank you in person one day, cruising in my own Holden 10,000+ no probs due to exchange rates etc. A kombi like mine will go for 12,000+ here and it aint that great!!! Grin

Hi Guys,

I'm a pom coming over to Oz in the new year for good!!!
I've got a VW Kombi here and was looking to get one when I arrive. That was until I visited some Oz Classic Car sites and fell in love with the Holden FC / FE!!!!

Could you help me out with a few things?

1, What's a good price for an almost immaculate example? (im not into resto ... not technical enough!)

2, Where's best to look? specialist trade, private web? papers? magazines?

3, Is there much of a Holden scene in Newcastle? That's where I'm a headin...

A funny way to get into a new car... but I can see why you all love them so much.

hope you can help
