HELP!!! I was driving along the other day & lost all of my gears. Some linkage thing had come apart. We put it back together, but it came off again. Has anyone had this problem, and been able to fix it Huh It is a bit disconcerting driving along & suddenly there are no gears

Cheers.... Yol

3  For Sale and Wanted / Parts Wanted / Heater for FC on: June 29, 2006, 12:37:51 PM
Hi, Does anyone know where I can get hold of an underdash heater for my FC?

An original would be great ( if they exist!!). A repro would be good too.

I have tried on ebay, but can't find much.

Also are they difficult to fit?

Thanks

8  For Sale and Wanted / Other Stuff Wanted / Re: Where are all the girls??? on: February 20, 2006, 09:52:14 AM
Hi everyone,
I'm in Perth WA. I'm not sure if there are any other 'classic lovin' girls over here. I have an FC Special sedan, its white & mauve, I'll try & put in a photo (I havn't been too sucessfull as yet). I love driving my car & I do every day to work etc. I will do a few mods later in the year when I get some extra cash. My son says I should put in a V8, My hubby says I will probably kill myself if I do!!!!! The guys in the FC/FE club reckon I should take all the stickers off it (I'm a Betty Boop fan). I told them that I'm an individual & so is my car!!!!!
Anyway, nice having a chat with some girls for a change!!!

9  For Sale and Wanted / Cars Wanted / Re: FC UTE WANTED WA (for a trailer) on: February 19, 2006, 04:50:26 AM
Hi Ray,

Thanks for that info, I wasn't sure if Holden made any other early utes or not. Even a wagon would be ok, as it would be enclosed.

I think I bought your FC?? (white & mauve). My son likes your Valiant!!!

10  For Sale and Wanted / Cars Wanted / FC UTE WANTED WA (for a trailer) on: February 18, 2006, 11:23:15 PM
Hi, Im looking for an FC Ute or wagon or similar that can be chopped and converted into a trailer. (I am guessing this IS possible to do ??!!??)

It is probably terrible to do this to an FC, but I need a trailer for my bussiness & I think that this would look cool towed by my FC.

I am in Perth WA, so only over here please.

13  For Sale and Wanted / Other Stuff Wanted / Re: seat covers on: July 26, 2005, 12:50:42 AM
Hi, I bought a back bench seat cover for my FC. It fitted great. I doubt that you will find a front bench cover unless you get it made.

20  Technical Board / Modification Help / disc brake conversion on: May 16, 2005, 03:17:05 AM
Hi, I am about to buy my first FE Holden. It has the original grey motor and  drum brakes. I have been told that these brakes a a bit dodgy, so it is better to have disc brakes. Can this be done and any ideas on cost?
regards rockin mama.  :-/
