Talking to a Mechanic last night and by chance he happened to mention the Prince of Darkness...he uses that term to describe Lucas electrical parts of any description...(Lucas...Lucifer) -he's pretty bent.
Anyway, he used to have to fit these parts to the motor car and he swears that Bosch are all-over the Lucas stuff. (You know what they say about opinions)! Hope it helps.

The GREY Canadian block is not a falicy. It did have structural integrity that surpassed the block that was built here, but this only came into play if you were looking to bore it. It also had "fins" or ridges going the full length of the block.
