Yeah have been reading the NCOP, trunk has to be sealed from the cabin.Fitting a steel fire wall behind the seat to replace the old fiber board cover that normally lives there. The merc tank also has a internal venting system to dump fumes to under the car through a valve thingy.

Hi Guys
I've fitted a 75 litre tank out of a 1977 W123 into my FE sedan. Mounts on top of the diff hump behind the rear seat as it did in the merc. Spare wheel wont fit now in the original spot,so might end up fitting the merc boot floor with the spare wheel recess in it....

Hi
Just wondering if any of the Canberra/QBN guys can recommend a "friendly" engineer ? Have been told AKZ Vehicle Engineering is pretty good, but curious as to who other guys are using in the area.
