I have brought a set of reproduction from Sam the guy in Shepparton which are the stainless type they seem fine to me but I don't have original to compare with. Maybe the purist will see the difference but I am happy with them.

Can you buy the nut that goes in the headlight buckets that take the adjusting screws or is there another way of fixing this I was thinking of putting in a standard nut insert in what have other people done ? Thanks Joe

I am looking at buying some lower rust repair panels for the lower section of the front guards from a guy making them in Ipswitch but I notice he advertise them for fe - ek So I am wondering is that section the same through all these models ?

Am looking for some exterior mirrors for my project I am thinking of late 50s style chev would like them to suit the period of the car. What have others used ? I am shying away from the tear drop clamp on type.

Thanks Harv, yes I prefer the Caltrac type I thought I saw a tangerine 350 FE with some at a car show in Walla but never got close and personal to look properly wished I met the guy for a chat.

I am putting a vintage style air con that will be concealed it is fitting up where the glove box ( I won't be having a glove box) is with under dash vents I have a separate heater that is fitting up behind the speaker grill I think its out of a bongo van or some small jap thing. Would post some pictures but I don't know how.
